Inheritance

Still evaluating... I have not found out how to use inheritance based on a class defined in another file, i.e, using #import.

Dont Download. Your Second compile will have to be paid in prior

1 Dont download! Your second compile will have to be paid prior. Even though the compile is the first one of the other apps of this vendor. 2 nevertheless paying for compiles in One of the Apps of the vendor wont enable compiles in another app of this vendor 3 every Run of a program forces a compile Even though only the Input changed. Keep in mind: you Pay for compiles. 4 this app needs strong internet connection (3G). below your run will be timouted.

Better than nothing, good start.

2 stars because now we actually can program C with our iPods. There is room for improvement though. Internet connection required!! Also, there is no way to save a file long term. You have access to the last program that was written only. User input is also done before the program is compiled. So forget about writting yourself a mini text game or something. C works well.

Make a batch app

Make a batch programming app as all the available ones are complicated.

Great for learning

This is what I needed for taking my first step towards learning programming. Writing programs is the only way to learn, and away from my iMac this allowed me to learn from my mistakes. Only not giving a 5 because sometimes a run fails, and without changing anything it will work the 2nd time.

Awesome

We have to pay little bit but this can run full objc code Maybe I could use this for outside and want to test some code on my phone

Problem

Why In deskription of App was not inform amaunt this: Compiling your program... Sorry, you have reached a limit of compilations per day. Please try again later. This disappointed me.

Limit of compilations

Program writes: "Sorry, you have reached a limit of compilations per day. Please try again later."

A+++

Perfect app !thx for it!!!

Not working

At all! Return my money

Scanf

How to make work the scanf?

No ability to save!

Can I have the ability to save and retrieve a program? Thanks.

Not bad a good start

Its a pretty good start to learning the objective-c language but it is missing the foundation but it still helps with testing basic functions that doesnt include classes from the foundation.

Obj C compiler

Like it a lot need more options though. Dont get any results after build and test. Just says compiled successfully?? Am I missing something? Great app when more options added. Being new thought it would be to test while on brake at work. Please add more options. New, save, foundation. Gladly pay more. Thanks.

Better with foundation

Much more interesting now that it can import Foundation, use NSString, NSArray, etc. Previously, it was bare bones objc (like NXConstantString and "Object"). But now, at least (whatever online compiler it uses) understands @property (not just ivars), and @synthesize. More like modern Obj-C. The default template should add to main, NSAutoreleasePool *pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; and lastly [pool release]; (I think ;)

Good for what it does

The app itself works great. My only complaints are: - It compiles over an Internet connection so if you dont have an Internet connection you can only write code. - Because its compiled in the Internet inputs must be pre defined, so you cant have live input for your program. - GUI could look more attractive, but I would say that for many apps anyway.

Limits?

When I pay for an app, I usually assume that there are no limitations. With a limit on how many compiles you get a day, this app just fell to the near bottom on my list.

I like it this app

Close enough to perfect

This app is as close as you can get to perfect given apples app store requirements as you can get. I would give anything for the source code to this project :P

Great !

This app is really good but I have 1 question ... How do you enable C99 Mode ? Also you should let us pick which extension *.m (Objective-C) and *.mm (Objective-C++ a combination of C++ and Objective-C) . That would help because I am familiar with cout and cin but those cant be used in Objective-C but they can in Objective-C++.
